Josh Mandela joined Thornhill as a Property Accountant in 2026. Residential Leasing Manager

Michael MacKay joined Thornhill Properties in May 2026, bringing more than 10 years of experience in real estate and property management throughout the DMV region. As a licensed Realtor in Maryland and Virginia, he specializes in residential leasing and sales, helping property owners minimize vacancies while providing exceptional service to prospective residents.

Known for his professionalism, clear communication, and results-driven approach, Michael is committed to creating a seamless experience for clients and building lasting relationships through trust and integrity.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his two children, staying active in the gym, and pursuing opportunities in theatre and film as an actor and performer.

Blake Hoskins

Property Accountant

Blake Hoskins joined Thornhill Properties in 2026 as a Property Accountant. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Mary Washington and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Accounting at Towson University. Blake brings a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail to support daily financial operations and contribute to efficient property accounting processes. Originally from Linthicum, Maryland, Blake enjoys playing soccer, traveling, and spending time with friends outside of work. He is also a loyal fan of Liverpool F.C. and the Baltimore Ravens.

Latisha Battle

Assistant Property Manager

Latisha joined Thornhill Properties in 2025 as a part-time employee at 1001 St Paul Street. Later that year, in October 2025, Latisha became a full-time employee at The Corporate Office. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Latisha brings a vibrant energy and diverse perspective to our team. She has lived in Maryland for over 20 years, and throughout her career in property management, she has built a rewarding journey that began as a Front Desk Receptionist — a role that ignited her passion for helping others and delivering excellent service.

Over the years, Latisha has developed a strong understanding of property operations, tenant relations, and the importance of creating a positive community environment. She is known for her very friendly and approachable demeanor, always ready to assist with a smile and a helpful attitude.

Outside of work, Latisha cherishes spending quality time with her son, enjoying movies, and creating lasting memories. She also loves visiting her family in New York, hosting family gatherings, watching sports and has a passion for dancing. Dedicated, motivated, and passionate about her work, Latisha is committed to continuous growth and making a meaningful contribution in the property management field.

Brendan O'Reilly

Assistant Property Manager

Brendan joined Thornhill Properties Inc. in September 2025 as an Assistant Property Manager. He supports daily operations across a mixed residential and commercial portfolio, coordinating tenant communication, maintenance workflows, and vendor scheduling. He is committed to responsive, service‑focused support and assists with budgeting, occupancy reporting, and overall operational planning.

Before joining Thornhill, he built strong communication and customer‑service skills through 6 years in the hospitality industry, working in roles ranging from busser and barback to bartender, server, and manager.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Commercial Investments and Development from Virginia Tech, where he studied commercial site design, financial feasibility, leasing strategies, and project financing. He also held a project committee leadership role in The Big Event, the second‑largest student‑run volunteering initiative in the nation. A quick learner, he brings a growing analytical foundation to the property management field.

Passions: He enjoys golfing, playing guitar, traveling to Cape May, NJ, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on Philadelphia sports teams.

Allyson Dove

Property Accountant

Allyson joined Thornhill Properties in 2025. She has over 10 years of experience in customer service and accounting, inspired by a passion to help local businesses. In her spare time, she enjoys taking her dogs to the park and working on her novel.

Luis Lopez

Property Manager

Luis joined Thornhill Properties in April 2025 as an Assistant Property Manager, bringing three years of dedicated real estate experience to the team. Following a 6-month learning period, he was promoted to Property Manager in October 2025.

He is a Licensed Realtor® and maintains a strong professional network through his active memberships in the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). Driven by a genuine passion for the industry, Luis is committed to professional growth and excellence in property operations at Thornhill.

Angie Gavin joined Thornhill in 2025 with over a decade of experience in retail management and business ownership. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband and two young daughters and stays active volunteering in her Northeast Baltimore community.

Marcus Sobetsky

Property Manager

Marcus Sobetsky joined Thornhill Properties Inc. in 2024 as a Property Manager and Environmental Specialist. With a robust background in environmental consulting, Marcus previously supported numerous military environmental restoration programs and provided environmental due diligence for real estate transactions. His expertise extends to collaborating with diverse contractors on environmental remediation and construction projects, bringing a well-rounded approach to managing properties while ensuring sustainable practices are integrated into every phase of development.

Controller

Cara joined Thornhill Properties in 2024 and brings more than 5 years of experience in accounting, business administration, and customer service. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Delaware and leverages her analytical background to support accurate financial reporting, improve operational efficiency, and foster team collaboration across daily financial operations. Originally from South Jersey, Cara relocated to Maryland in 2022 and remains a loyal fan of the Philadelphia Eagles (Go Birds!). Kim Laughlin

Assistant Property Manager

Kim has been involved with banking, real estate, accounting, and most recently commercial property management for nearly 30 years. Prior to joining Thornhill, she worked as a Commercial Property Manager with a prestigious property management company in Harbor East for almost 13 years.

Though her experience includes assisting several high-profile tenants through major renovations projects, her strength focuses on building relationships with a strong attention to detail and customer service. While her current position as an HOA manager is very different from commercial property management, she is confident that her previous experience and industry knowledge will propel her to excellence in serving these clients.

In her spare time Kim enjoys spending time with her husband, her rescue “Slim Shady” and practicing yoga, running, soccer or gardening when time avails.

Beth Vogel

Property Management Coordinator

Beth Vogel originally joined Thornhill in 2017 as a Property Manager until she resigned in 2020. She returned to us in October 2023 in a new role created for her as Executive Assistant to our Property Managers. In 2025 she was promoted to our Property Management Coordinator.

Beth has over 42 years of administrative experience along with her 3 years of managing properties. Throughout her tenure, Beth has played a vital role in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. Her ability to anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and juggle multiple priorities with grace has made her an indispensable asset to both the property management and accounting departments.

Known for her attention to detail, reliability, and calm demeanor under pressure, Beth is the go-to person for anything administrative. She demonstrates strong customer service abilities, excellent communication skills, and a consistent willingness to help others, which are all assets to our company.

With decades of industry experience, Beth remains committed to excellence, continuous improvement, and helping the team – and the properties they manage – run like clockwork.

Outside the office, Beth enjoys spending time with her two sons and two cats. She is one of six siblings and is extremely close with them even though many are out of state. She cherishes her time with family.

Kathy joined Thornhill in 2023 after 25 years in the retail accounting department for a prominent family-owned furniture store in Baltimore. Kathy has experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and customer service. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and pets and volunteering for a local dog rescue.

Senior Property Manager

Denise came to Thornhill with over 35 years of property and facilities management experience. Her family has been involved in real estate for over 70 years, but Denise always preferred service over sales and takes pride in caring for investments.

Although HOA management is a little different than property management, both require expertise and nurturing, two of her best attributes.

When not working, Denise loves spending time with her husband, daughter and rescue princess Scarlett and channeling her inner rock star at karaoke venues throughout Baltimore County.

Robin Hernandez-Willie

Leasing Specialist

Robin Hernandez-Willie joined Thornhill Properties in 2019 as a Leasing Specialist. I am responsible for marketing and leasing units, conducting tours, and guiding applicants through the move-in process. My role focuses on delivering excellent customer service while maintaining high occupancy rates. In addition to leasing, I serve as the on-site property manager by coordinating maintenance requests, working closely with residents, and ensuring all property needs are met. In my spare time, I enjoy event planning, bartending corporate events, traveling, and spending time with my family.

Director of Multifamily Operations

As Director of Multifamily Operations at Thornhill Properties, Katie oversees the day-to-day management of the company’s multifamily portfolio, ensuring each community operates efficiently while delivering exceptional service to residents and achieving ownership objectives. She works closely with our property management teams to enhance operations, improve efficiencies, uphold high standards across every property, and create positive living experiences for our residents.

Lacey Avgerinos

Executive Assistant

Lacey joined Thornhill in August 2019 and serves as the Executive Assistant, bringing with her more than two decades of administrative experience across fast-paced, client-focused environments. Known for her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, she plays a critical role in supporting day-to-day operations, streamlining processes, and ensuring the team functions efficiently and effectively.

In addition to her executive support responsibilities, Lacey serves as the company’s leasing administrator, where she manages both commercial and residential tenant relationships. In this capacity, she oversees leasing documentation, coordinates communications, and helps maintain positive, professional interactions with tenants, contributing to high levels of satisfaction and retention.

Lacey is valued for her reliability, proactive approach, and ability to manage multiple priorities with ease. Her dedication and behind-the-scenes leadership make her an integral part of the Thornhill team.

Jason Peak

Senior Property Manager

Jason Peak is a Senior Property Manager who has over 12 years’ experience in real estate, property management, and client relations. He is knowledgeable and experienced in residential and commercial property management, leasing, as well as construction and repairs. Prior to joining Thornhill, Jason managed a mixed-use building and several other buildings in Harford and Baltimore Counties. He enjoys working with individuals to secure prompt and professional results, while ensuring the aesthetics of a building are being properly maintained. He is known for being a problem solver, effective communicator, and relationship builder. In his free time, Jason enjoys cooking, hiking, fishing, boating, and spending time with his family.

Kathleen Dial

Senior Property Manager

With over 30 years of hands-on experience in property management, I have built a career rooted in the successful oversight of residential and commercial properties throughout Baltimore County and Baltimore City. I began my professional journey in a family-owned, father-and-son management company, where I developed a strong foundation in daily operations, tenant relations, and property maintenance.

After joining Thornhill Properties, again in a family-owned firm, I quickly advanced through several key roles, including Receptionist, Service Coordinator, and Assistant Property Manager. Each position provided valuable insight into both the operational and customer service aspects of the business, allowing me to build a well-rounded skill set.

Today, I manage a diverse portfolio that includes residential and commercial condominiums, homeowner associations (HOAs), a commercial office building, and a mixed-use property with both residential and commercial units. My experience, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence support Thornhill Properties’ mission to deliver dependable, high-quality property management services across the Baltimore area.

Joy Stewart is a Property Manager with Thornhill Properties who specializes in retail management. Hunter Brewer

Director of Commercial Leasing and Sales

With more than 10 years in commercial real estate. Hunter Brewer heads Thornhill Properties, Inc. Brokerage Division as Director of Commercial Leasing and Sales. Since 2018, Hunter’s focus is on Landlord, Tenant, and Investment Sales representation in the Baltimore metropolitan area. Prior to Thornhill, he was a financial analyst in commercial real estate.

Hunter is known for his creative and persistent approach in helping clients achieve their commercial real estate goals. Thus far, he has successfully closed over 300 commercial real estate transactions in volume.

Hunter has a strong understanding of his client’s needs which makes him an integral commercial real estate advisor in helping his clients fulfill their real estate requirement whether it be buying, selling, or leasing commercial properties. Brandon Norris

Senior Vice President

Brandon Norris joined the Thornhill Properties Inc. team in 2014 and works as a Property Manager and Commercial Real Estate Agent. His focus lies in Commercial Property Management and Office/Retail Leasing. Concentrating largely on creating strong owner, tenant, and landlord relations.

In addition, Brandon has continued experience working closely with Condominium/Homeowners Associations and Boards of Directors in the Baltimore area.

Louis G. Panos joined Thornhill Properties in 2004, bringing a proactive, hands-on leadership style and a strong focus on community association management and residential leasing throughout the Baltimore metropolitan area. Over the past two decades, he has built a proven track record in leasing strategy, operational leadership, and business development, playing a key role in the firm’s growth and long-term client relationships.

As Chief Executive Officer, Louis provides strategic oversight of Thornhill’s management portfolio, leading day-to-day operations and guiding teams across multifamily, commercial, and community association assets. Founder & President

With more than 40 years of experience in the real estate industry, George L. Panos, CPM, is the Founder and President of Thornhill Properties. A Baltimore native, George remains closely attuned to the ever-evolving local real estate market. Prior to founding Thornhill, he managed a Baltimore-based, family-operated development company with projects spanning Maryland and Delaware.

Today, George continues to lead Thornhill while overseeing the firm’s commercial brokerage operations, representing both landlord and tenant clients. He works closely with the company’s property management division, providing strategic direction and strong leadership across the organization.

As Thornhill continues to grow, George remains actively involved in shaping the company’s vision while mentoring the next generation of leadership, including his son, Louis G. Panos, CPM, who serves as Chief Executive Officer.

George takes great pride in the lasting relationships he has built throughout his career. Notably, Thornhill’s management portfolio has expanded primarily through referrals and word of mouth—a testament to the trust and reputation he has earned within the industry.
